9 Months

The scene is a six-bed ward, in which some spend the entire nine months, while others only stay for a couple of days. Anya is preparing to become a single mother, Tasya will have to experience the effectiveness of artificial insemination, and Marina’s love relationships go far beyond family ones. The film “9 Months” is an attempt to understand who, how and why gives birth to a child in our time. The film raises serious, difficult and unpleasant questions: What to choose: career or motherhood? How to keep a child, a surrogate mother?... But, despite the seriousness and sometimes tragedy, the genre of the film is comedic and lyrical.
