A Sailor from 'The Comet'

Sailor Sergei Chaikin lives in a small southern city. Friends like his cheerful and soulful songs. Sergei is in love with the athlete Lena, to whom the director of the Sailors' Palace, Vadim, is also partial. Lena and Vadim are leaving for Moscow for the VI World Festival of Youth and Students, followed by Sergei, who replaced the sick soloist in the sailors' ensemble.
