A Woman Like Eve

Eva is married and has two children. But she feels that she is missing something in her life. Her husband Ed thinks she is depressed. She goes on vacation with her friend Sonya to the south of France. There she meets Liliana, who lives in one of the communes. Liliana thinks that Eva and Sonya are a couple. This assumption shocks Eva; she reveals that she is married. On subsequent days of rest, Eva often visits Liliana. After returning to Amsterdam, Eva begins exchanging letters with Liliana. When she comes to Amsterdam for a feminist convention, the friends meet. Eva realizes that she has fallen in love with a girl and they begin an affair. Eva decides to divorce her husband. The long legal process ends with the children being left to Ed. This is a heavy blow for Eve, and she must decide whether she can sacrifice everything for love.
