Summer is coming to an end, and bosom friends Claire and Hayley face a serious problem: in exactly five days, Hayley's family is moving to the other side of the world! Only a miracle can help the girls, and it comes in the form of the beautiful mermaid Aquamarine, who is washed ashore by a summer storm. Sweet, but completely ignorant in romantic matters, she offers the girls one of their wishes if they help her find the guy of her dreams. The friends try to lure a local rescuer, but the result turns out to be very far from expected... and it becomes clear that sometimes what you want is not what you really want.
