In Nazi-occupied Warsaw, the beautiful wife of lawyer Karol Holzer, Christina, is found murdered in her own apartment. The case is assigned to Inspector Rafal Krul, an officer of the so-called Blue Police, controlled by the Germans, who is also a member of the Polish underground movement.
