Blind Chance

A young man named Witek tries to find himself—sometimes making a deal with state security, sometimes joining the student movement, sometimes immersing himself in religion. The symbol of his wanderings is a train he is constantly late for. His romantic quests are superimposed on this political canvas. He searches for his love in vain and does not notice how he betrays the women he loves.
