Burnt by the Sun

Sunny summer day 1936. A young country, full of enthusiasm, celebrates the 4th anniversary of Stalin's airship construction. The legendary division commander Kotov and his large, noisy family are relaxing at their dacha. A thousand people gathered in the old house: a beautiful wife, a fidgety daughter, a father-in-law - a famous Russian conductor, relatives and friends, housekeepers and neighbors. The fun is overflowing, and the idea that something in life can change will seem absurd to everyone. They will all be happy forever! And no one, not even the wise Kotov, wants to believe in the inevitable. That this sunny day will end - and will never happen again.
