Caterpillar

During the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1940, Lieutenant Kurokawa returns home with honor and respect. However, he is missing his arms and legs, which he lost in a battle in China. All hopes, from neighbors and women to family members, are directed towards Shigeko, the lieutenant's wife: she must fulfill her duty to the Emperor and the entire country by fulfilling the sacred duty of caring for God's warrior.
