Anna is an eighteen-year-old artist who lives with her father in a cave on the island of Ibiza. One day, the Englishwoman Justine discovers her talent and invites her to move to Madrid, where Anna discovers another gift: she keeps the memories of different girls who lived at different times, but died the same way at twenty-two.
