Cheers is the name of a small bar in Boston owned by Sam "Mayday" Malone, a former baseball star. Sam, the staff and bar regulars chat every day about problems, laugh at each other, and discuss funny incidents from life. All this, of course, is flavored with a substantial portion of alcohol. The entire series is built on jokes, humor and friendly banter.
