Sociopath James Bennett, who escaped from prison, commits a series of brutal murders, leaving clues for his pursuers. The FBI and local police have to work together to stop the criminal. By a strange coincidence, Bennett goes to the house in which he grew up, where a group of students are working on compiling a psychological portrait of him.
