Commandments
1997Northern Lights Entertainment
A comedy with biblical overtones - the life of the main character Seth Warner develops in such a way that he breaks all 10 commandments one after another in order to attract the attention of God. The viewer first sees him on a rooftop, yelling, “I don’t believe in God,” and looking up at the heavens in the pouring rain. They try to talk him out of committing suicide, but ball lightning saves him from this sin. When Seth revives in the hospital the next day, he takes a mental look back at his life. The wife disappeared, apparently drowned; He was kicked out of the clinic where he worked as a doctor for having a “hardened heart”; A beloved dog became crippled after being struck by lightning. After this, the final decision to challenge the Almighty matures. Since the Creator decided to deal with him, Seth will also have some fun at the end. Of course, this is not “Seven,” which simply makes your blood run cold, but it looks like a breeze, which is largely facilitated by the brilliant acting.
