A comedy about two girls who work as waitresses in a diner and are united by a common dream - to open a successful business. Of course, as soon as they find the money for it. A caustic, life-conscious Max works two jobs just to make ends meet. One of those jobs was the night shift at a retro Williamsburg diner. Sophisticated Caroline is a former trust fund princess who was so down on her luck that she was forced to become a waitress. At first, Max perceives Caroline as just another incompetent that Max will have to cover up, but to her surprise, Caroline did not turn out to be a dummy. When Caroline learns that Max bakes amazing cupcakes, she immediately sees it as a potential source of profit, but the business requires money. Well, while the girls are saving tips, they will have to work in a diner with Oleg, an overly loving cook; Earl, the 75-year-old hotshot who works the cash register; and Han Lee, the new owner of the diner. Two girls with no money live in an expensive city, work together, and may have found the secret ingredient to success.
