Cupid's Bow

The beginning of the First World War. Zdzikh Miechowski goes to the front, and his wife Maryska remains in Krakow. She helps the wounded and participates in fundraisers. People respect her. However, when rumors spread about the death of her husband, everyone begins to use Marysia: the maid takes over the apartment, male acquaintances demand intimate services. In the end, Maryska begins to sing in a cabaret. Unexpectedly, her husband returns from the war, who believes that Maryska has disgraced him.
