Angelika Schnell easily combines the position of a criminal investigation inspector in Vienna with the responsibilities of a mother of two teenagers, and she is also divorced. In parallel with the search for criminals, Inspector Schnell is trying to find a life partner - both are not easy. Profession and family are inseparable for Angelika, mostly due to joint work with her ex-husband, the head of the forensic department. Daily communication between former spouses usually begins with a discussion of the possible causes of death of the found corpse and ends with a dispute over who will spend the weekend with their children.
