East Germany is on alert. The introduction of American weapons into West Germany is expected. A native of the GDR, 24-year-old Martin Roch, is recruited as an agent of the Stasi (intelligence and counterintelligence department) and sent to Germany, where he enters military service to transmit information about the actions of NATO troops. The guy finds himself in a new world, in which, along with secrets and intrigues, he encounters previously unseen wonders of civilization.
