When Albert Stockwell finds a note from his wife Nancy saying she has gone to see friends, he eventually realizes she is missing. Nancy has sought salvation on the Internet through Louis Farley, a stranger she met online. The two wounded souls find solace in one another through dark emails and promises of perverse encounters.
