Emanuel and the truth about fish

Emanuel is a sarcastic and at the same time sensitive teenage girl living with her father and stepmother. Her next birthday is approaching, but Emanuel has been indifferent to this holiday since her mother, giving her life, died in childbirth. At the same time, a mysterious Linda lives next door with a striking resemblance to her late mother, Emanuel. Intrigued by this fact, Emanuel begins to work as a nanny for her newborn daughter Linda and is gradually drawn into the fragile, fictional world of his neighbor, in which Emanuel herself is assigned the role of a gatekeeper.
