Ned is having a midlife crisis. Work has not brought satisfaction for a long time, children are a complete disappointment. To top it all off, the wife brings her grumpy, sick father to their home in New York. Neda spends every day fighting with family members. He will have to survive unexpected turns of events that are simply part of reality, such as old age and death; obligations and freedom; love and understanding. This film is an uncompromising look at an ordinary family trying to figure out their relationships.
