Scientist John Crichton is testing a space module of his own production. According to John's theory, by using the Earth's gravitational forces, the space module can reach speeds significantly higher than the speed of modern spacecraft. And then the day of the final test comes, but something goes wrong, the space module, along with John, falls into a wormhole that appeared from nowhere. The researcher and his ship find themselves at the other end of the Universe, hundreds of light years from Earth...
