Fatalists

A former KGB agent, a foreigner, Clifford Linds-Vasilyev, is coming out. The agencies that recruited him no longer exist; the state for which he worked is no more; he has been stripped of his American citizenship and his state apartment in Moscow is being demanded to be released immediately. Approximately the same fate and the former “bed” agent of the KGB – Cleopatra, which 15 years ago was “stripped” from the Moscow State University phil faculty to work as a whistleblower. She is denied a university reinstatement, and her grants, whose signatures are on her papers, are no longer in nature. They're nobody now.
