Fear and Trembling

Amelie was born in Japan, and although she returned to Belgium with her parents at the age of five, she always felt that Japan was her homeland. Amelie feels that when she signs a one-year contract to work as a translator for a Japanese corporation, her dream has come true. However, everything is not going as smoothly as she would like: very soon she realizes that despite her excellent knowledge of the Japanese language, she still needs to understand a lot about Japanese culture and the peculiarities of the Japanese attitude towards gaijin.
