For All Mankind

The action takes place in an alternative reality. On June 26, 1969, the United States lost the space race to the USSR: cosmonaut Alexei Leonov hoisted a red banner on the lunar surface, after which many NASA projects were curtailed. But the Americans are not going to give up, and decide to challenge the Soviet Union again in order to assert their superiority in space.
