Gold

The film takes place in Italy in the 16th century. Rome was captured by the Austrians, sacked and reduced to ruins. The beloved of a talented secular artist, Gabrielle, becomes the concubine of an Austrian warrior, and Gabrielle himself becomes his servant. Later, the beloved kills the offender and is punished for it. The vandals are leaving. But will inspiration return to the artist?
