Heaven & Earth

The dramatic story of a Vietnamese woman over 30 years - three different periods of her life. Her life was once serene and beautiful... But her world collapsed when the Vietnam War began. Her fate is the fate of a woman who finds herself in her native land between two fires - North and South. She was tortured by defenders of the old regime, and raped by the communists. While working in a rich house in Saigon, she “adopted” a child from the owner. Only after marrying American Sergeant Steve Butler did the heroine of the film learn what love and respect are. Soon she leaves with her husband for America, where new challenges await her.
