Military exercises are taking place off the coast of Italy, in which American sailors are superior to the local navy in all respects. The decisive battle should be a duel in which the US submarine will be confronted by an Italian minesweeper. In order not to lose face, it was decided to recruit the ship’s crew using a computer, which will select the best of the best. But, as always, an error crept into the calculations, and a group of klutzes received summonses to the assembly point, among whom was even one girl who went to the navy instead of her boyfriend...
