Immacolata and Concetta, a

A story about a love affair between two women from the lower strata of Naples society. Immacolata went to prison for engaging in prostitution, Concetta for exceeding self-defense. Having met in prison, they continue to communicate even after leaving it. Despite social prejudices, they decide to live together. Immacolata leaves her husband. But the interpersonal difficulties caused by Immacolata’s betrayal turn out to be stronger than external difficulties, and lead to a tragic outcome.
