An influential businessman, Vladimir, owns enterprises that develop and sell technologies that allow one to see what is hidden. Events unfold around him and his young wife Catherine, taking them into the past. They witness Felissa Kroot's love triangle in the 1820s and 30s. In the present, Catherine meets a young musician, Stepan, and her real love life becomes a reflection of Felissa Kroot's life in the past. Vladimir, unable to observe from the sidelines and come to terms with his wife’s infidelity, tries to prevent this relationship.
