The main character of the film is American college student Christina Carlson, who travels to the Federal Republic to meet her fiancé, an employee working in Germany. She finds herself next to an agent conducting another special operation. Suddenly she and the spy are kidnapped, and she ends up in the GDR. There she is mistaken for a CIA agent, interrogated and placed in a women's prison.... Now she is in a place where everything is prohibited, and where everyone is trying to fight for their existence. Everything in the prison is controlled by one of the criminals, Sofia, to whom everyone obeys. Christina is trying to survive in this nightmare, to adapt to such a life. Meanwhile, her fiancé is trying to find her, overcoming various bureaucratic obstacles. When he finds out where his bride is, he tries to organize a sabotage landing operation to free and save his beloved.
