Megan lives in Los Angeles. She records everything that happens to her on a video camera. She plans to send this video diary to a film festival in Berlin. She decides to film the loss of her innocence—to "pop the cherry," as she tells her friend about the upcoming event. Online, she finds a worthy partner for losing her virginity in the Garden of Eden—a theologian with an academic degree named Luca. But when they arrive at the motel, the concierge hands them a key with the words: "The only condition for getting the room is not to pick the apple from the tree."
