Little Birds

The story of two completely different women who found themselves in the international zone of Tangier in 1955 - on the eve of its liquidation, after which Tangier became part of the Kingdom of Morocco. Young American Lucy Savage travels to a unique place near the Strait of Gibraltar in the hope of understanding both her own sexual and personal life, and the upcoming socio-political changes. Her fiancé, an English lord, is torn between his duty to Lucy and his feelings for his Tangier lover. One of the most influential women in Morocco, Cherifa Lamour, is trying to change the world around her, which further attracts a local official who is desperately in love with her.
