Lost Illusions

Lucien is a young unknown poet from 19th century France. He has high hopes for his life and wants to control his own destiny. He leaves the family printing house in his native province to try his luck in Paris. Finding himself adrift in this fairy-tale city, Lucien discovers what is really going on behind the scenes in this world of profit and pretense.
