Marieke Marieke

Twenty-year-old Marieke lives with her mother in a small Brussels apartment and works in a private chocolate factory. The girl's father died when she was eight, and since then the topic of his death has been an unspoken taboo for mother and daughter. The coldness of her mother and longing for her father force Marike to seek human sympathy and love in the arms of older men.
