Marquis de Sade: Justine

The film tells the story of the lives of two sisters: the innocent and naive Justine and the pragmatic Juliette. After the death of their parents, the girls are expelled from the monastery in which they studied, with a hundred crowns in their pockets and a blessing. Juliette immediately goes to a prestigious Parisian brothel to begin climbing the ladder of success in life, and Justine learns that the world is not at all ideal, and that with her “piety” and innocence, there is, in fact, nothing to do in it, because her entire independent life turns into a series of cruel deception, humiliation, persecution and torture.
