Master i Margarita (Rossiya)

The film takes place in Stalin’s Moscow in the 1920s-30s and in Ershalaim during the life of Jesus Christ. In his novel about Pontius Pilate, the Master brilliantly described the last days of the life of the Son of the Lord, for which he paid for his freedom. To save the Master, his beloved Margaret is ready to do anything, even a deal with the Devil. At the same time, a certain Woland, along with his retinue, terrifies Muscovites. In a world where evil and impure power are rooted, the tricks of Satan, colored with humor and satire, turn into revenge for the vices and sins of people.
