Mother and Child

Karen, 50, lives as if out of habit. Many years ago, as a teenage girl, she was forced to give her newly born daughter to another family. Her grown daughter Elizabeth, a cold and calculating lawyer, glides through life in a tangential way - without emotions and attachments. She likes to play power games. She's afraid of love. She never saw her real mother. Young confectioner Lucy is unhappy - she desperately wants to be a mother, but can't give birth. The heroines of the film live, locked in the shell of their loneliness, fears and complexes. Their lives must cross. But how?
