Staring at Strangers

In search of an interesting character for an article, journalist Marco meets with the famous bullfighter Lydia. Their acquaintance grows into passionate love, but all hopes are destroyed by a tragedy at a bullfight: the blow of an angry bull plunges Lydia into a coma. Spending days and nights in the hospital, Marco meets nurse Benigno. It is not the first year that he has been taking care of Alicia, who has fallen into a coma, whom he loves passionately, not hoping for reciprocity. Similar fates unite the men, but Benigno is happy, and Marco suffers, unable to express his feelings to Lydia.
