Already middle-aged, but still unrecognized artist Arkady Sinikhin, on the very eve of the New Year, was expelled from home by his wife. Wandering the streets, Sinikhin accidentally finds a mobile phone, which was thrown away by a security thief while running away from the police. Thanks to someone else's phone, Arkady finds out the place where the thieves' loot is hidden and finds himself at a high-society party. Here he meets the owner of the art gallery Apollo Kostanakis. Having drunk a fair amount, a couple of new friends decide to appropriate the gangster’s “stash” and organize an exhibition and sale of Sinikhin’s paintings. But the first visitor to this exhibition turns out to be a robbed security thief who wants to get his money back...
