Onimasa

The film tells the story of the Kiryuin family, covering the period from 1918 to 1940. The story is told on behalf of the girl Matsue, who was adopted as a child by a descendant of the samurai family, Masagoro Kiryuin, who became the head of one of the branches of the Yakuza clan, specializing in prostitution. The colorful and ambiguous personality of Masagoro, nicknamed Onimasa, is the central character around whom the main dramatic and bloody twists and turns of the plot take place.
