All six of Valerie Spiro's husbands have died and she is considered a "black widow." Valerie explains everything as unfortunate coincidences, but the police and the insurance company have their own opinion on this matter. Insurance agent Grady Kent and police detective Mike Ramer begin their own investigation. Valerie wants to stop it by seducing both agents, but then they decide to combine their investigations.
