The main character of the film, Valeria, is a successful lawyer, a beautiful, independent and self-sufficient woman, confident that she controls everything in her life. But this illusion collapses after fate brings Valeria together with former businessman Mikhail and his six-year-old daughter. Mikhail was recently released from prison, where he was unjustly accused. In order not to lose his daughter, he is forced to kidnap her from the orphanage, where the girl was placed after the arrest of her father and the flight of her mother, who abandoned the baby to strangers and went abroad in search of a new rich husband. Having kidnapped his daughter, Mikhail is forced to go into hiding. The police are looking for him. Circumstances are such that the stories of Valeria and Mikhail are closely intertwined. But when Valeria finds out that her loved one is a “child kidnapper,” she faces a difficult choice: to act according to the law or according to her conscience. Which path will the heroine choose?
