Pierre Cohen, a sophisticated Parisian psychologist, goes to his brother's farm in Brittany with the aim of protecting him from hostile local landowners. Cohen decides that the farm can be saved by using one of the tricks of his profession — psychological warfare. As a result of his efforts, the situation becomes uncontrollable.
