The film takes place in the 20s of the last century in Los Angeles. The main character goes to the police to report a missing child. After some time, the woman’s son is returned, but she tells the police that this is not her child, that he is just very similar to him. Everyone decides that the woman has gone crazy, and instead of getting help, she receives a “ticket” to a psychiatric clinic.
