D.J. Tanner-Fuller, a mother of two sons with a third child on the way, is recently widowed. Balancing household chores with her work at a veterinary clinic has proven to be no easy task. Realizing she can't handle it alone, she turns to her sister Stephanie and her best friend Kimmy, who is raising a teenage daughter of her own, for help. The women decide to move in with D.J., hoping to make her life easier.
