Mingo, who suffers from dementia, lives in a small pueblo in the Mexican outback with his mother, for whom at a certain point the interest in women that awakens in her son becomes a problem. On the advice of the parish priest, the woman sets Mingo up with a girl like him who suffers from dementia. Suddenly, the young man reveals tireless sexual power, which immediately becomes known to the entire female population of the village. Mingo becomes a popular figure among widows and ladies dissatisfied with their husbands, which immediately turns the city men against him. However, the young man himself keeps in his heart a platonic love for the first beauty of the pueblo, Paulina, whom the lustful alcalde of the city, Zeno, is trying in vain to get into his bed.
