This detective story is based on true events that occurred in Greece in the late 90s. In this way, the “godfathers” tried to provide themselves with escape routes in the event of criminal prosecution in their homeland. Kirill Valuev is a former opera director. Because of his integrity, he was forced to resign from the authorities. Stubborn and honest, Valuev prevented the management from doing shady things. Soon after his dismissal, a young beautiful woman, Daria, the widow of an oligarch, turns to Kirill for help. Her husband was killed, and now the hunt for her has begun. Daria asks Kirill to investigate the circumstances of her husband's death and protect her from her pursuers... Kirill takes on this case and uncovers an entire international criminal network that helped Russian crime bosses evade criminal prosecution. The gang faked the death of the leaders of the underworld, helped them travel to Cyprus, undergo plastic surgery to change their appearance, provided them with new documents, after which the fugitive “godfathers” began a new life. A new life according to old concepts. The heroes await not only dangerous adventures, confrontation with the international mafia, but also love, disappointments, hopes and a happy ending that flares up between the detective and his client.
