Based on the autobiographical book of Howard Stern, the most popular radio disc jockey, who starred in the film as himself. He achieved success thanks to his shocking sincerity and, as a result, incredible scandalousness, since people usually do not talk about themselves, but choose a fictional character for jokes. “Why are you listening to him?” people ask on the street. - “I wonder what he will say next.” The story about this unpredictable comedian-improviser is constructed by the director from the first person and begins from childhood, when the future broadcast star was eight years old. The genre of the film, of course, is a comedy, but in essence it is a drama, in which, as in life, there is a lot of sad and funny things.
