Reds

The film tells the true story of John Reed, a radical American journalist. The action takes place during the First World War. John meets with a married woman, Louise Briant, who leaves her husband for his sake. After political disagreements in the United States, they leave for Russia, where the October Revolution is in full swing. The lovers are inspired by the communists' determination and return to the States, hoping to stage a similar coup.
