Robinson

The film "Robinson" begins in 1985. In a small northern town live three boys who dream of becoming naval officers - Sashka Robertson, Leshka Balunov and Vovka Titov. The submarine K-963, on which their fathers serve, goes on a secret mission - to the area of ​​NATO exercises to discover and record the acoustic portrait of the newest, almost silent American submarine. And the boys, playing submariners in an abandoned factory, fall into a deadly trap. Years later, when friends Sashka, Leshka and Vovka graduated from school, military service no longer seemed so prestigious to many, values ​​changed, and submarines rusted... Vovka leaves for Moscow and becomes a businessman. Leshka joins the Marine Corps. And only Sashka remains true to his youthful dream and connects his life with the sea - he becomes a submariner. After a terrible accident on a submarine in 1996, remaining in a blocked compartment, in complete darkness, at the “abyss on the edge,” Sashka Robertson was able to survive, and, despite his wife’s ultimatum - she or the fleet, he remained faithful to the oath and returned to service again.
