In 1928, a beautiful American woman, heiress to a large fortune, comes to the Sahara to fulfill the will of her late father - to win a car race in the desert. Since only men are allowed to participate in the race, she dresses up, and then there are races, Arab tribes, bloody battles, sheikhs lusting after her beauty.
